My background and unique education has given me skills as a tutor that are valuable to both myself and my students. I have experience tutoring people of all ages, ranging from middle school to adults. I approach tutoring and my students on a personal level and adjust my lessons and pace to their needs. I tutor a variety of subjects, though mathematics is where I specialize. Through my tutoring, I attempt to remove the stigma and show the benefit and usefulness of math through real life examples and application. My passion for mathematics started back when I lived in Nigeria and tutored students preparing for their GED exams. I also volunteer at New York Cares, teaching computer science to adults and mathematics to middle and junior high students. I hold Advanced Level Certificates in chemistry, mathematics, and physics from the Cambridge University board in Nigeria. I currently attend City College in New York, working towards a Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering. I have aspirations to pursue a Ph.D. at Princeton and join the US Army to assist and help disabled veterans. In my free time, I enjoy film/movies and playing soccer.
