I'm a junior Journalism Major and Philosophy minor at Purchase College (SUNY). My current cumulative GPA is 3.96 and I have made Dean's List for five consecutive semesters.
Experience
I'm both a practicing and a developing Journalist, as I'm currently in my junior year of a Journalism BA degree. I also hold a position as a web writer for Westchester Magazine, while concurrently working as a Reviews Editor for an on-campus publication called The Purchase Beat. Prior to these two positions, I have worked as a research-assistant for a literary project about the development of international digital libraries conducted by a Swedish company called TredjeMannen AB. I believe that my deep interest for research-driven writing and my substantial experience of the same can help your son or daughter to develop in any writing/research-intensive subject. I have previously worked as a Teacher's Assistant for a College Writing class, during which I helped freshman college students to further their writing while providing them with insightful feedback. Furthermore, I have also served as a notetaker for various upper-level college courses on multiple occasions, often, after having been recommended by Professors of mine.
