I worked with Yale Admissions Office, engaging in a variety of roles for the office such as Student Forums, various events (both planning and staffing) such as Multicultural Open House and Bulldog Days, and even interviewed as an official Senior Interviewer (trained officially by Admissions Officers) over 120 applicants to Yale University. I believe that I have gained valuable insight into the college application process and can help students strengthen their applications in many valuable ways through their Common Applications, essays, and their interviews. Writing is a fundamental skill in life, whether you're in school or not. I received 800 in the SAT's writing section as well as 5 in AP English literature/AP English Language and can help with refining grammar, vocabulary, sentence complexity, and structure of essays ranging from high school essays to college application essays. In terms of Korean, I was born in Korea and can speak and write at a native level. I've been immersed in Korean culture since childhood and for anyone who wants to learn Korean, I can cover various topics ranging from history, KPOP, Korean food, and more! I took advanced courses in Korean at Yale and can help with conversation, pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. I'd love to find topics we both love discussing and have conversations (in Korean) about them!
