I received my bachelor's degree in Judaic Studies and Spanish from the University of Connecticut. While pursuing my major, I also earned a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. My goal is to now pursue a graduate degree in Spanish-English translation.I am passionate about the field of humanities, including the subjects of history, literature, theology, languages, and the Spanish language. I have studied the language since childhood, and made it my primary academic focus. In college I studied not only the Spanish language, but also Latin American culture, history, and civilization. I have also studied Hebrew extensively as I worked towards my other major and as a personal interest. I have made languages a large part of my life and I understand the issues students struggle with in their pursuit of language acquisition. In fact, I required tutoring for many of the same reasons as a student. I am patient with my students and enjoy taking the time to help them overcome the issues they are facing as they learn a new language. I tutor social studies, religious studies, Hebrew, and all levels of Spanish.During my free time, I enjoy playing cards, reading, drawing, spending time outdoors, writing, playing board games, and playing cards.
